NEC Software Solutions UK (NECSWS), part of the NEC Corporation, has today received the provisional findings from the Phase 2 investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) into its acquisition of the Secure Solutions and Services business.
NECSWS will review the findings and, although it is disappointing that the CMA has provisionally concluded that there is likely to be a substantial lessening of competition, we will continue to cooperate fully with the investigation.
In the meantime, both businesses continue to trade independently and focus on their customers’ needs.
