Ministry of Defence are partnering with NEC Digital Studio to build a bespoke case management system to manage their detainee requirements
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has chosen NEC Digital Studio as their partner to develop a bespoke case management system to efficiently manage the Military Corrective Training Centre (MCTC) detainee requirements.
Partnering already through the Police Record Management System, Connect. When the MOD identified their need for a new detainee management system to support their corrective training for servicemen and women, NEC Digital Studio was able to rapidly demonstrate a solution by building a protype within a few weeks. This was possible due to NEC’s existing understanding of the challenges the MOD faced, and the rapid capabilities of their bespoke case management system.
Marco Fiorentino, NEC Digital Studio’s Executive Director, on the partnership with the MOD:
“It’s important for us to work on meaningful projects that help to address complex socio-economic challenges. With our bespoke case management system, we’re able to do just this. By connecting design, technology and real life, we are providing an accessible and cost-efficient solution that helps clients reach their full potential.
Our existing collaboration with the MOD means we understand their need for agile, flexible solutions that are scalable, supported and present value for money. With my experience in the Probation Services, it’s exciting to use our skills in the pursuit of supporting corrective training.”
With the project recently started, NEC Digital Studio have worked closely with the MOD in a discovery phase to fully understand their users’ needs. At the end of discovery, a bespoke system, including a custom designed interface, will be built to help the MOD save time and improve efficiency, so they can reallocate resources and put greater focus in corrective training.
